Lead paragraph
[edit]- I think the lead paragraph could be expanded a bit more, maybe with 2-3 more sentences. I'm worried it may get flagged as too short and that it doesn't adequately summarize the entire article (which is the purpose of the lead paragraph).
Infobox
[edit]- There are several facts mentioned in the infobox that are not cited or mentioned anywhere else in the body sections. Nothing in the infobox should be included if it is not cited elsewhere, per WP:INFOBOXCITE. Among them are: DOB, his apparent dual nationality (not sure if that's what you mean by the Bosnian / Croatian mention), his studies at the Sarajevo Second Gymnasium, Garage Rock, and all of the instruments he uses.
Music career
[edit]- who is his neighbor in Sarajevo at the time – is → was
- Nenad Janković's younger brother, Dražen was in the band too. – Which source backs up this statement? Is it Source#3? I strongly suggest you add it at the end of this sentence to prevent a [Citation needed] tag.
- was in the fall of 1981 – Can you add the month instead? Per MOS:SEASON, we highly discourage using seasons.
- The band soon gets the status of a cult band – get → got
- whose success exceeds notability of their primary bands - exceeds → exceeded
- Sejo Sexon performed with Zabranjeno pušenje – I'm confused if Pušenje should be capitalized in all instances. Can you confirm?
- during Fall 1983 in producer Paša Ferović's modest studio – MOS:SEASON per above
- In Autumn 1984, they embarked – MOS:SEASON per above
- Dok čekaš sabah sa šejtanom (English: While you're awaiting dawn with the devil) is released through Jugoton on June 11, 1985 – is released → was released
- Male priče o velikoj ljubavi (English: The Little Stories About a Big Love) are released - are released → were released
- 1995–2010: first paragraph - The first paragraph of this subsection is entirely unsourced. Please add the appropriate references where they belong.
- he moved to Zagreb, Croatia where he lived for some time – Comma after Croatia,
- During that time, the band works on their new studio - works → worked
- Zabranjeno pušenje Fildžan viška (English: An Extra Cup of Coffee) is released - is released → was released
- The album is released in June of the same year - is released → was released
- was record by home made production in improvised studios - record → recorded? Also, "homemade" is together.
- No one expected that it would become one of the best selling Zabranjeno pušenje albums – This is somewhat uneyclopedic. Can you prove that absolutely no one in all of existence didn't expect this? I would rephrase.
- In 2004, Sejo Sexon begun to work on the double-full-length album – begun → began
- Songs for their first studio album Kad procvatu behari was recorded in 2009. - was → were
- In Autumn 2008, Sejo Sexon worked on the next album – MOS:SEASON per above
- album Muzej revolucije (English: The Museum of the Revolution) is released on November 7, 2009 - is → was
Radio and TV career
[edit]- Top lista nadrealista – Live sown in more than 60 cities in Yugoslavia. – Shown
- after 50 odd shows on radio – You mean "approximately"? I would rephrase to that. I think using "odd" may be an idiom, please correct me if I'm wrong.
- That tour was supported by the USAID office in Sarajevo. – This sentence needs a source
Other projects
[edit]- Golden Rose award for the best TV advert clip at Monterrey, Mexico in 1990 – Comma after Mexico,
Humanitarian work
[edit]- Project was supported by embassies of the Canada, Norway and the U.S. in Zagreb. – Two things here: please add a source for this sentence. Also, please consider redlinking the embassies of Norway and the U.S. If one exists for Canada, it is reasonable to think one could be created for the other two.
Personal life
[edit]- First paragraph – It is entirely unsourced. Please add the sources where appropriate.
Discography
[edit]- Section is entirely unsourced
Filmography
[edit]- Section is entirely unsourced
References
[edit]- Multiple sources in this section are incomplete; they lack authors, publication dates, and the template that reads (in "X language"). A lot of work is needed here, but I will revisit this once you're done.
