Dear Sirs,
the article from the book that you allude to as a copyright violation is from myself. The introduction of this book has some aspects which are referred to in the introduction of the short contribution to wikipedia. Please let me know in which respect you consider this as inappropriate.
Sincerely,
Professor A. Schulze-Bonhage Head, Epilepsy Center, University Hospital Freiburg, Germany
- I did gather that you wrote the portion of the book which this appears to match in part. The issue (to me at least) is that the book states "Copyright © 2008 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim" (or at least the online version of it that I can see does) which brings up the issue of the publisher claiming copyright to the text. As this issue has been encountered before by others who work in the copyright area here, I will ask them to take a look at this situation and see if they can give you some more in depth feedback today. Dear Mr Whitney,
I have checked the versions, and it is basically the initial three sentences of the Wikipedia contribution which could be a matter of concern. I have no problems with rephrasing them if this is considered necessary. Unfortunately I do not know how to access the wiki contribution to make such changes, as you appear to have blocked access to the article. I would be pleased if you would allow to modify these sentences which you regard as a copyright violation.

- I went through and reviewed the article and the book again and I tend to agree with you. I have unblanked the page so that you can rewrite the first part of the article that is the issue. I have already asked another copyright reviewer about the article so they may have further input, but I believe that would take care of all of my concerns. Thank you for your understanding. Dear Mr Whitney,
I have changed wording in the sentences referred to. Furthermore, references have put into wikipedia format, and links have been inserted to other topics like seizures, anticonvulsants, eeg, and epilepsy. Please check if the critics put on the webpage hold with these modifications. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Schulze-bonhage (talk • contribs) 10:54, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Seizure dogs
[edit]Service animals for people with epilepsy can detect seizures in advance. It might not be a bad idea to include whatever is known about this subject in this article, but I'll refer that to anyone who knows more about the subject than I do. Getheren (talk) 19:31, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
