Incorrect Statement

"It is said that Segata Sanshirō Shinkenyūgi was the final game produced for the Sega Saturn console."

I'm pretty sure this is false. Final Fight Revenge was released for the Saturn in 2000, two years after Shinkenyugi. The web site Segagaga Domain confirms this. --M.Neko 09:04, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Segata Sanshiro Shinkenyugi was the final game produced by Sega on the Sega Saturn console (not the final one they released, since many budget "satakore" releases followed later). So that statement is at least partially correct. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.132.113.54 (talk) 00:34, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Japanese Superman

What Superman is to America, Segata is also a Superman-like hero in Japan. (You know what i mean) RocketMaster 20:02, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

Rambo game proof?

What proof is there that Hiroshi appeared in charcter as Segata Sanshiro to promote the Rambo game? The pictures I see don't show Sanshiro's judo outfit, and, though my Japanese is pretty poor I could not find the name せがた (Segata) in a Japanese article about the appearence. I think people are jumping to conclusions. --idspispopd —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.167.103.192 (talk) 03:07, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

  • It's bullshit. Hiroshi Fujioka appeared to promote the game as himself, not as the Segata Sanshiro persona. The writer of this "fact" didn't realize that Fujioka is not just a celebrety because of Segata, he is known as being the original Kame Rider, as well as from other roles.

EDIT: Ah, yes, and here is the link: http://www.seganerds.com/2008/05/29/segata-sanshiro-promotes-rambo-arcade-game/ As said above, he didn't appear as Segata. The name of the article can be explained just like above; westerners only know him as Segata Sanshiro. --80.223.127.229 (talk) 17:06, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
