Name Translation Confusion?
[edit]This article makes it seem as though "Fatherland War" and "Patriotic War" are different terms; I can't be 100% sure since the article doesn't give a translation for "Fatherland War," but the only translation I can think of (I'm Russian) for it would be "отечественная война" ("отечество" comes from "отец" meaning "father"), same as the translation given for "Patriotic War." Looks like different English sources just translated the same Russian term differently (the two terms aren't really even different in English - the word "patriotic" itself comes from the Latin for "fatherland"). 69.91.0.44 (talk) 03:17, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
