Proposed merge of Battle of Collierville with Second Battle of Collierville

Oppose: a content fork is when two or more articles cover the same subject. In this case, we have several battles and skirmishes over the course of several weeks. The first article and second article do not seem to overlap time periods and appear to be separate engagements with different units and commanders involved. This isn't a fork so no merge is required. Oppose per BusterD, these were separate battles and therefore separate subjects and should not be merged. A question might be whether there is a primary topic for simply Battle of Collierville but that could be discussed via an WP:RM or elsewhere. Mdewman6 (talk) 22:29, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
