I do not understand why this article fails to meet the general guidelines. Could you please expand?

For myself (as someone who didn't tag the article) more links or references to external content would be good. Especially conference papers and/or journal papers. On the other hand, I do think that some people are far too handy with the tags. Donal Fellows (talk) 14:44, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
