Merge with Seattle Totems discussion
[edit]This article covers the intial incarnation of what evolved to the Seattle Totems:
- 1944–52 Seattle Ironmen (PCHL)
- 1952–54 Seattle Bombers (WHL)
- 1955–58 Seattle Americans (WHL)
- 1958–74 Seattle Totems (WHL)
- 1974–75 Seattle Totems (CHL)
The middle two incarnations of Seattle Bombers and Seattle Americans similarly are already redirects to Seattle Totems. If someone can cite a folding of any of the previous business entities, and a subsequent granting (or relocation) such as by a league, I would reverse my opinion and there should be stand-alone articles. ie, Seattle Totems isn't History of minor league hockey in Seattle. But based on the existing citations, it appears to be a single entity with known changes in ownership, gaps in playing seasons, and evolving league affiliations.
