[edit]I haven't seen the move yet but it looks really awesome and the song Seasons of Love add's a really good kick to it and i think will make more people want to go out and see the movie and its Romance......and Drama~!!
Gendered pronouns and Angel
[edit](Copied from Talk:Rent (musical)) - Angel may have been a gender-bending, drag-queen kind of man, but he was still male. Rent itself acknowledges this. For example, this exchange from the song Goodbye Love - "At least now if you try, Angel's death won't be in vain. - His death is in vain!" Note use of the masculine pronoun. While feminine pronouns can certainly be playfully used to refer to Angel, their use on Wikipedia is unnecessarily confusing to people who are not familiar with Angel's character or with Rent in general. - AdelaMae (talk - contribs) 02:27, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
Removed a part
[edit]"Also, in the movie's alternate ending, the cast sings Finale B on stage like they were at the beginning, but without Angel. Then, near the end, Angel rejoins the group."
That part seems unrelated to SoL, so I removed it. This tidbit, while interesting, would be better off in the movie article. Viva La Vie Boheme!
Removed another part
[edit]I took out the entire "Lyrics" section. It had no solid info to back it up, and ... well, it was kind of lame. I'd rather leave the lyrics open to anybody's interpretation. .onion 06:54, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
P.S. I didn't make the above edit, but it wasn't signed, so... yeah.
Added infobox
[edit]I added a song infobox (album track), and also tagged the article with 'song' so its now part of the wikiproject songs. The infobox needs adding to (sorry, but i might have deleted some of the fields by mistake). Everyone who hasn't already should take a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Songs to improve the standard of this article.Valerieg 01:43, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
Who sings the song
[edit]Both in the musical and in the 2005 film, the song is performed by the entire cast.
In the movie, 8 members of the cast sing the song, and there are more than 8 members in the cast. Maybe it should read ...by all principal members of the cast or something similar. Savacek 02:14, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Rentocralbumcover.jpg
[edit]Image:Rentocralbumcover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Is this a good Trivia note?
[edit]This is the section of the Seasons of Love talk page where you can suggest a note for the Trivia section and it can be discussed whether or not it is noteworthy.
"Seasons of Love" is a popular song during high school graduations. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DanMat6288 (talk • contribs) 15:20, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
Scientists
[edit]If you ask most scientists, they will tell you that a year is 365.242 days long, which would put it at closer to 525948.5 minutes. Worth mentioning? --ITasteLikePaint (talk) 06:30, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
Chord structure
[edit]Umm - on watching the film and Broadway DVDs, has anyone thought of the inspiration or the apparent borrowing of the basic chord structure of People Get Ready (Impressions/Marvin Gaye/many other artists)? This is my first entry, so could someone else evaluate for inclusion? Alcockell (talk) 06:47, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
The basic chord structure of Seasons is IV-III-II-V-I, IV-III-II-V-VI. The structure for People get ready is I-VI-IV-I, so they are not at all alike. René Torenstra (talk) 19:49, 21 July 2013 (UTC)
A Capella?
[edit]By wiki's definition of A Capella, the Office's version was NOT A Capella since Darryl played the keyboard. DonMEGĂ|60645 15:34, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
Eliminating commercial music
[edit]Thanks to the retail apocalypse phenomenon, and the "citation needed" footnote appears, it was therefore necessary to remove the commercial song info. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cody2019 (talk • contribs) 13:24, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
