- This should not at all be marked for deletion. Malone is an influential and prolific musician, a university music professor, and has written at least one book for Hal Leonard on bass styles. - Sean Malone's work in music is one of the most inspiring, impressive and extraordinary collection of art. First of all, he and his Gordian Knot are well known among the circles of alternative music listeners including metal and progressive rock. Secondly, he is also noted for his academic knowledge and his book. It is beyond comprehension why someone in the first place would raise the issue that Malone doesn't deserve a place in Wikipedia for not being 'notable'. - Sean Malone is the founder/member of two highly influential bands (and he deserves recognition for Gordian Knot alone). I've seen articles about session players for nu-metal bands with no notable experience and nothing but their gear to describe - questioning Malone's notability seems nothing more than a bad joke to me.
