German Version

"Einen Sommer Lang" was not the version recorded by Brian Hyland in German. His version was titled "Schön war die Zeit" and has different lyrics than the one Dana Winner recorded.

Short description

@GhostInTheMachine

I wonder whether the Short description "1960 song by Peter Udell and Gary Geld" is an improvement on "song written by Peter Udell and Gary Geld".

The song is written, not performed by Udell and Geld. The meaning of "by" is ambiguous.
They may have written the song in 1960 (which the article does not state), but it was a hit in 1962, 1968, 1972, and 1989.

@GhostInTheMachine The infobox is on the single by The Four Voices that was released in 1960. It does not necessarily mean that the song was written in 1960. Adding 1960 is a guess. Leo Vleeshouwers (talk) 11:58, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
