The Scraw explaination has a right to exist because it has been undervalued by Thatchers and Builders who would extort money out of listed buildings and heritage. The Scraw is a lost fire barrier which has a Biography and a life of its own. It explains the defencive reaction to the Celtic tactic of firing red hot clay sling shot pellets againt thatched building in defensive enclousures. - That all may well be true, but the article makes no mention of any of that. The article reads only as a dictionary definition. In order to be encyclopedic, the article would need to provide background of the use of this term, and the use of this mechanism as a fire barrier in construction.
