Antidote
[edit]"People exercising dogs or children need to be aware that antidote for snake bites is stored at Scotts Head Surf Club, which is situated at 'the point'."
I'm not sure, but I think maybe this should be included.
If true, it seems like useful information.
I'm not sure I agree with the letter of policy in this case, either.

- Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and does not aim to contain everything that is potentially useful. Also, that information will date quickly. Graham87 14:57, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- That it shouldn't contain everything doesn't mean it shouldn't contain this particular thing. And there's plenty of info on Wikipedia that dates quickly. One of its greatest strengths is how quickly it's updated. Benjamin (talk) 14:59, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's updated when people get around to it ... which, especially for trivial details like this, could be years after the fact. It's just ... the sort of advice and hyperscific detail that goes in a travel guide or an information leaflet, not an encyclopedia that is trying to be authoritative and, as much as possible, timeless. I can think of no similar encyclopedic article that has such information, and I can certainly not imagine it in a print encyclopedia. As an editor with under 3,000 edits, your ideas of when it's appropriate to ignore all rules hold little weight to me. Graham87 15:40, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- I bet I'll feel the same even when I have as many edits as you, but that shouldn't matter. You ought to address the ideas, not the person. I'd expect you to take me seriously even if I were just a lowly IP editor. (They're people too, I'm sure you know.) Benjamin (talk) 16:09, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
