Does anyone really a give a damn that he has pulled all-nighters on WoW when he has work the next day? It doesn't seem newsworthy to me, somehow.

Clawful voice?

[edit]

His Clawful in the 2002 He-Man and the Masters of the Universe sounds very familiar - has he used that particular voice style on anything else? His Mer-Man has the same voice as Waspinator from Beast Wars. Timrollpickering 00:22, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure, I'd have to hear the voice again. I know he does use the same voice for two characters sometimes. He did that with Wolverine in X-Men: Evolution and Koga in Inuyasha. So, it's quite possible he used that voice somewhere else.RoryS89 03:23, 21 October 2006 (UTC)RoryS89[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Waspinator.jpg

[edit]

Image:Waspinator.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Credit removal

[edit]

Okay, why does the bit about him being the Evil Masked Figure in Scooby-Doo 2 keep getting removed? It's not like it's original research or a complete lie, it's a fact! And if any of you don't believe me, you can check the movie's credits, Wikipedia's own article about the movie, and interviews with Scott on the subject!

It has not been removed, it was just moved from the Trivia section to the Live-action roles section. --Silver Edge 05:23, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for informing me. See, it had been removed a couple of times before, so I thought someone had removed it again.

Cleanup tag?

[edit]

Anyone know why the cleanup tag is up on this article? Hentai Jeff 21:15, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Probably due to the fact there are no reference tags and like what is mentioned below, some of the additions seem to be more opinionated facts by fans (which I'm one too) or by Scott himself. ^o^ Granted, though, the lines to see him are long. I will try to help out clean it up more if I can. Quistisffviii (talk) 18:21, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Biography summary

[edit]

To me, it sounds like his biography summary is setup more like a Chuck Norris fact then something actually important, I would also like to see an external link, proving the whole "He appears at many anime conventions, and occasionally gathers an entourage so large as to obstruct hall traffic. When he and other convention guests sit down for autograph sessions, there is usually a "Scott Line" and "Everyone Else Line" for the sake of convenience" thing right it sounds more like an obsessed fan wrote these little "Scott Facts" or even he himself —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.71.62.11 (talk) 02:46, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know if that should be taken down now, that quote from this article is mentioned during Scott's interview on the Voiceprint podcast from October of 2007. What does everyone think? What is the general consensus when it comes to Wikipedia article mentions in interviews? Quistisffviii (talk) 20:50, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Follow up - they do not mention that as a fact. It was just stated that he is now truly famous now because he has a Wikipedia article stating that there is a Scott McNiel line and and everybody else line. I've checked a few other actors/actresses to see if their famous Wiki mentions were on their Wiki articles and they are not. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Quistisffviii (talkcontribs) 14:44, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Place of birth

[edit]

Just to clarify, was he born in Canada then moved to Australia or was he born in Australia and then moved to Canada? 74.75.248.107 (talk) 16:34, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Scott McNeil is the Ultimate Teacher

[edit]

somebody needs to update this page to reflect that he voiced Ganpachi the Ultimate Teacher in the English dub of the anime movie Ultimate Teacher.
