More Content about career and life

[edit]

Change the intro graph to better represent Mr. Cooper's career as a writer and director -- and also outline his acting background. He received writing credits on 'For Sale by Owner' and also appeared in other films prior to Gods and Generals.

Also, in interviews with Mr. Cooper, there are plenty references to influences -- musical, Southern lit, etc.. Pull in external sources that outline his career history -- if possible.

Duvall as mentor

[edit]

Outline the influence of Robert Duvall in his career and in the production of his latest movie Crazy Heart. Pull quotes in from noted external sources documenting this information.

The Directing Style and Criticisms section

[edit]

That section reads a little bit like a hit piece. If you check Paul Thomas Anderson, Stanley Kubrick, Steven Speilberg, Francis Ford Coppola, Christopher Nolan, etc. All of these directors have critics that for some reason or another just don't like their movies. Yet you don't have a whole subsection of their biography that records it. I don't know, just seems a little unecessary, uncalled for and even a bit biased. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.103.235.218 (talk) 03:51, 28 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
