I used to have some but drinking this made me forget. Sorry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.7.229.76 (talk) 21:29, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Origin

[edit]

The Scorpion Bowl was supposedly invented in the 1930s at a bar called "The Hut" in Honolulu, and contained rum, brandy, orgeat and citrus juice. I don't know where you can find a reliable source to confirm this. Jmc76 (talk) 16:39, 18 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It's widely attributed to Trader Vic's. I'm Thai and I can confirm that this is NOT a huge delicacy in Thailand, I have no idea where someone would get the idea that we serve this widely in Thailand with anchovies. Lol Ntia78 (talk) 21:22, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Scorpion Bowl

[edit]

Add to the section In Popular Culture for this article that it's mentioned that the main character Davey in the animated film Eight Crazy Nights drank four of these at Mr Chang's restaurant before drunkenly skipping out on the bill at the beginning of the film. 2001:1970:5198:8900:CDF4:1529:125E:3F43 (talk) 02:52, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
