A Nation of Scofflaws
[edit]As far as sourcing, the 2nd episode of "Prohibition" titled "A Nation of Scofflaws" (by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick, produced for PBS) covers the term well, including the Boston paper than ran the contest, that two people shared the 200 prize and more. Exceptional series, btw, I'm about to watch the third and final chapter via Netflix. Dennis Brown | 2¢ | WER 19:51, 28 July 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Telly Savalas (TV's Kojak) was convicted of littering sometime in the 1970s. TV news at that time reported him as a scofflaw. ItsACityOfApes (talk) 19:29, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
