[edit]Could someone please clarify why this image is up for deletion? Are there any compromises/ other images we could use. Contaldo80 (talk) 17:31, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Mormando
[edit]Mormando calls "the most unworthy Pignatelli" (Bernini -p.49) "morally compromised"; yet Pignatelli's page says "Pignatelli demonstrated himself worthy of the episcopal purple, ..." So which is it? He clearly dislikes the "unsavory" Borghese, and apparently Pignatelli by association. However, he relies on Marta, a spy for James I of England. I don't question Mormando's translation, but the disinterestedness of his source. Mannanan51 (talk) 17:03, 16 January 2016 (UTC)

Re: first line of "Building Projects":
"Borghese’s first work after entering the Sacred College where he studied" This presumably refers to the Sacred College Of Cardinals, which is not a college for study. - Daniel Baedeker |
