2007 list

[edit]

https://www.gov.cn/zfjg/content_551881.htm has a list of such schools in 2007: back then, only 86 were listed WhisperToMe (talk) 23:10, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

2017 list

[edit]

This 2017 list https://jsj.moe.gov.cn:443/news/1/24.shtml shows Shanghai provided English names of its schools for children of foreign personnel, but it seems other direct controlled municipalities and the provinces did not WhisperToMe (talk) 23:13, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Order of provinces

[edit]

@Cfls:

I'd like to know about how the provinces are ordered and why that's the case. I am aware of tier rankings of particular cities, but I'm not familiar with provincial rankings. Many ENwiki readers aren't familiar with them either, so that may have to be explained in articles which use such rankings to organize content.

In United States-related lists, usually the states are just put in alphabetical order, and in English often that way is used of organizing provinces/prefectures/states in other countries. WhisperToMe (talk) 20:51, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Japanese names

[edit]

If someone makes a JAWiki article, http://www.china.org.cn/archive/2014-03/21/content_31863875.htm appears to have Japanese names WhisperToMe (talk) 18:39, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Also found a list in Russian, from 2007 http://russian.china.org.cn/links/txt/2007-08/08/content_8651078.htm WhisperToMe (talk) 20:18, 24 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
