Reverted edits
[edit]The Banner, please specify why you have reverted all of my edits to this article. Even if you don't like every single edit, they were constructive contributions to the article that you shouldn't revert without giving any explanation. – Editør (talk) 17:42, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
- As you can see, I restored a few thing that got lost in the revert. Your biggest edit was not an improvement. And your change from cowshed (a shed for cows) to farmhouse (where the farmer lives) is completely wrong. At best it could be changed in "farm outhouse" but that would mean that the original meaning of cow shed or cattle shed would be lost completely. The Banner talk 17:58, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for restoring some changes. Changing "cowshed" into "farmhouse" is reflecting the text of the source that was referenced in the article, where it says: "A schathuis is in fact the farm of a borg." The translation of "treasure house" is incorrect, it is not mentioned in the source, and does therefore not belong in the article. – Editør (talk) 18:14, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
- When you think you know it better, go ahead. But you make it very clear that you don't understand Dutch. The Banner talk 18:51, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
- The word "schat" can mean "treasure" in Dutch, but it doesn't in the word "schathuis". The source explains it well in the section "Het schathuis". It says that "schat" in "schathuis" comes from the Frisian word "skat" meaning "cattle", and it also explains that a "schathuis" is the farm of a borg. – Editør (talk) 20:57, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

Other issues:
- The hyphen between "2004-2012" should be an n dash.
- Names are generally not italicized on Wikipedia, and I see no reason to write the names "Piloersemaborg", "Schathoes Verhildersum", and "Verhildersum" in italics here.
- This "ref name="piloersema"/>" should have an extra < in the beginning.
- Source reference #9 ("Knoopjelos - Schathoes") doesn't mention the owner or head chef of Schathoes Verhildersum, only the head chef of Piloersemaborg; a better reference should be found and/or the information should be removed. Also, the reference has no retrieval date.
