Ritual & Classical Albums Update
[edit]Scarlet Rivera's website mentions her work with Ritual. Waarmstr (talk) 16:32, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
Celtic Myst reference
[edit]Here is the FAI/Microsoft web page for the Celtic Myst album that has her listed: http://fai.music.metaservices.microsoft.com/FAI/AlbumMatch.aspx?locale=409&version=9.0.0.3354&requestid=7694D67F-8211-49A5-9091-D66CB5B70FAA&AlbumId=10332027&Volume=1&5698=
Would this be enough of a reference, or is a reference back to the producer / record company required (in order to fulfill the WP reqs)? Just wonderin' and tryin' to help! NDCompuGeek (talk) 15:08, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
Celtic Albums
[edit]I have confirmed the following albums on Amazon.com; Celtic Dreams, Celtic Myst, and Celtic Spirit (although Celtic Spirit was by Eric Rigler with Scarlet Rivera supporting). All of the other albums can be confirmed on either Amazon.com, BN.com, or iTunes.com except for "Classic Christmas". I have left the Reference request for "Classic Christmas".Waarmstr (talk) 16:32, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
Trivia
[edit]I was thinking of adding the following trivia section. Would this be within the scope of this article? Bob Dylan's song "One More Cup Of Coffee" mentions learning "how to throw the blade" and Scarlet has mentioned having an interest in knife throwing. [1] As Bob Dylan had already started writing some of the songs for the "Desire" album, it is unknown whether he had already met Scarlet at the time he wrote "One More Cup Of Coffee".Waarmstr (talk) 16:32, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

Christgau's Record Guide
[edit]Christgau doesn't seem to say that the session musicians on the recording are stretching out melodies, instead it seems that he is hinting at Scarlet Rivera being a session musician who is stretching out melodies, and hinting at Rivera not being able to improvise. – Thjarkur (talk) 00:52, 22 November 2019 (UTC)
With John Mayall
[edit]"The Sun Is Shining Down" "On this fortieth-odd studio release of his career, Mayall also seems to purposefully hearken to previous touchpoints in his discography. In doing so, however, such occurrences sound perfectly fresh: the ghostly air violinist Scarlet Rivera (of Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder Revue) adds to "Deep Blue Sea" deliberately evokes memories of Mayall's unconventional drummer-less bands with a cull from USA Union (Polydor, 1970).
