Scarborough War Memorial : newspaper report
[edit]The Yorkshire Post, Monday September 18. 1922 p.11 reports: "There was a large attendance on the top of Oliver's Mount at Scarborough on Saturday afternoon, when the foundation stone of the town's war memorial was laid by Mr. C. C. Graham, who was Mayor of the borough during the war years. The memorial is to take the form of an obelisk...." It is quite a lengthy article; I do not know how to add or cite it, or whether this is desirable. Quickest (talk) 22:33, 2 November 2022 (UTC)
