Sports Section
[edit]I think the sports section should remain on this page since it is important aspect of high schools. There should be more information about other aspects of the school too, however.
- If it's included, it needs to be toned way down, minus all the boasting and records and such. I guess it's a pet peeve of mine about American high school articles in general: always copious info about athletics, little, if nothing about academics. I guess it's a reflection of reality to some extent, unfortunately. Ripogenus77 22:28, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry for not signing my previous post, that was me. I think the problem is that a lot of people consider the athletics of a school important. Look at what sells for getting kids to come to a college. A lot of it is athletics based. The same often goes for high schools. I will admit that I graduated from Scarborough in 2004 so I am biased so I will respect taking down the sports section. Do you know where MEA results or other statistics can be found? Oh hey...
[edit]Hey, Scarborough boys won Class A State championship 2010. Can... I add that? And George Jones is not the principal. Oh and our colors have been reduced to only Red and White.--72.224.201.82 (talk) 23:04, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
- And we are in school for 6 hours and 25 minutes. That was changed this year... much to our dismay.--72.224.201.82 (talk) 23:06, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
