Just to clarify: the previous treatment buried the legendary Scaevola (the sole hit for centuries at Google Ngrams' "Scaevola *" &c. results) which was completely unacceptable. Just searching for Scaevola and "hand" produces more results than the scaevola plants at Google Books as well. Given that it still pulled up a putative 20k results for the flower, however, I've left it as a dual topic rather than redirecting directly to the Roman.

(If people feel most of those results are inappropriately technical, no real problem with directing this to the Roman. Just move the current content to Scaevola (disambiguation) and be sure to include a link at the top of the Roman's article.) — LlywelynII 17:28, 26 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
