Very biased
[edit]This article is very biased and is more like a politically biased pushing article than an Wikipedia/encyclopedia article. Needs to be reviewed??!!! CheersCanberraBulldog (talk) 05:12, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
Notability?
[edit]I've never heard of these demonstrations, and I go to university, the hotbed of these sort of things. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.95.107.10 (talk) 08:18, 16 October 2011 (UTC)
- Notability has been established. Your ignorance is irrelevant. - Shiftchange (talk) 08:37, 16 October 2011 (UTC)
- The name calling is unnecessary. Perhaps I didn't make myself clear. I've had a look at WP:NTEMP and this doesn't appear to fit the criteria of lasting influence or coverage. It would be better to be put into a 'Say Yes Australia' page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.95.245.122 (talk) 07:54, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
It's been over a year since I posted the Notability comment, and there has been little to no coverage of this event since, however, the carbon tax has been implemented by the Commonwealth Government. So the event itself is hard to justify as notable, but it could be added to the background of the carbon pricing page. Cubittokyo (talk) 13:09, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
proposed merger
[edit]- No-- the protests appear to be of a broader scope and separate from proposed merge-to article. Dlohcierekim 17:01, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose. The demonstrations are notable in themselves and deserve their own article. - Shiftchange (talk) 00:24, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
