Saw (2009 game)Saw (video game) — There doesn't seem to be any other game with this name, and all searches points to this game. It also redirects here. Therefore, this article should be moved to either Saw (video game) or Saw (2009 video game) to keep with consistancy. TaerkastUA (talk) 11:40, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

Agreed, it should be moved to Saw (videogame). I will move it around August 10th unless there are any objections. GroundZ3R0 002 (talk) 05:54, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
Actually, it should be (video game) not (vdeogame) since it is not a compound word.--209.5.115.66 (talk) 02:59, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
That's true, and most of the articles have it as two words for consistancy. --TaerkastUA (talk) 11:26, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
I am also in favour of said move. TR-BT (talk) 17:39, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

When I tried to move the article to Saw (video game), it said that the move couldn't be done. I'm not sure why, can anyone help me out? GroundZ3R0 002 (talk) 20:40, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

An administrator needs to move the page.--TaerkastUA (talk) 11:05, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Assessment -- 08/17/2009

I see you self-eval'd this to C-Class, but I'd say some work is still needed. Some suggestions:

  1. Crop your images to remove watermarks when you can. Referencing the image itself properly in its own entry will cover where it came from.Green tickY
  2. Gameplay needs lots, lots more references. The first two paragraphs are completely unreferenced.
  3. The characters section needs references.Green tickY
  4. Consider cutting out a large chunk of the intricacy in the Gameplay section. Readers do not need to know exact details, and the section is long and not a fun read.
  5. De-wikilink common terms, such as nail and shotgun. These are common everyday terms that readers rarely need more information on.Green tickY
  6. Given the size of the article, it's a an image farm. Try cutting it down to two images and standardizing the width of those images in the article

Good start, I can tell you put a lot of work into it. It's not C-class yet, but it's really close. --Teancum (talk) 01:20, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

I've added check marks to the things completed. Excellent work so far.
  1. I would still remove another image, and personally I would say the screen of the protagonist in the characters section, as it's sortof disturbing for a "family friendly" site. I'd also crop the sides of the asylum picture a bit too. It doesn't have to be perfectly square, but shaving off a bit from each side will make it fit better with the other images. Consider setting that one to right-justify rather than the left.
  2. There are still some terms that need de-wikilinked. Stuff like cassette tapes, lead pipes, crutches, razors and the like.
  3. I'd say the Gameplay section is getting really close to small enough. I'd cut one line's worth from the first and last paragraph, and about three lines from the second. Look for sentences which are "nice to have", but not 100% necessary, such as "For example, hitting any target with a lead pipe will cause the pipe to bend and break until it is rendered unusable.".
  4. Reference the Gameplay section heavily. Even if you're reusing refs that already exist, the reader doesn't know whether what's been written there can be backed up.
I'd say once these are done C-Class is yours. --Teancum (talk) 13:40, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Retroactive Continuity?

Does it seem that the shot into Tapp's stomach was retconned to be located in his chest for the game? Opinions? GroundZ3R0 002 (talk) 06:26, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

C-Class

Nice work - definitely C-Class now. I made some minor image size changes, but other than that it looks great. --Teancum (talk) 12:11, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Obi is not in the game

Would people stop adding his section? People believe he appears in the game with the shotgun collar. He's not in the game! It's not even Obi. The trailer shows footage of early development stages of the game. The person people believe is Obi is the victim who replaced Tapp in the early demo. In the finished version the person has been replaced with Tapp. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Horrogod (talkcontribs) 19:01, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Agreed, do not add any characters that have not been confirmed. I'm going to remove Hoffman because he wasn't confirmed either.GroundZ3R0 002 (talk) 06:09, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
