I've rewritten the article slightly to try to make it clearer why it should remain here. A savoury in a formal british meal is a separate course, similar to hors d'oeuvres or dessert, and thus entitled to its encyclopædia entry. Cooke (talk) 12:31, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
