I stumbled upon these people during research on "Finnish operation" of NKVD in Leningrad Oblast and Karelia. Therefore I have reasons to believe that what Soviet/Russian sources say that Savakot are extinct "as a result of the process of ethnic consolidation" is ...er... understatement. The complete Finnish population of these areas was severely uprooted during 1934-1939, first by "voluntarily resettlement" then by outright repression. Threfore for now I left the text about their fate unfinished.
