I'm new here, but shouldn't the citations in an article be in the same language as the article, so long as there are sources available on the matter in that language? Like, I understand if (a) there are no sources in English on the matter or (b) the sources in other languages are considerably stronger/more trustworthy, but otherwise I feel like we should try and cite sources of the same language as the article. I'm confident there are authoritative sources in English on at least some of the content for this article. Or, maybe if foreign language sources are stronger, they could be accompanied by a same-language source (in an ideal situation). Would love to hear others' thoughts on this.
