Removed 'Listings' section
[edit]I have begun removing the "Listings" sections from SNL Seasons articles because they consistently fail WP:NOTDIR policy concerns. You can find the main discussion here: Talk:List of Saturday Night Live episodes#.27Listings.27 sections on Seasons pages. -- Wikipedical (talk) 00:39, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
Should we add the speculation of Jason Sudeikis leaving SNL?
[edit]There was speculation of Jason Sudeikis leaving SNL and that he may leave mid-way into the season. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GamerGuy09 (talk • contribs) 23:20, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
Episode list template
[edit]I have included the Episode list template to the Episodes section because it is standard on Wikipedia. It transcludes the same information to the full List of Saturday Night Live episodes page, so it is more useful to update it once and have it appear on both pages. It shouldn't be too confusing (as, again, it's used on most TV seasons/episode list pages). See Template:Episode list for its documentation. -- Wikipedical (talk) 22:00, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
Future episode additions
[edit]Since November, User:190.45.215.88 has added unsourced information about upcoming episodes. I have removed these additions, have added a note in the article ("Please do NOT add new episodes until dates or guests are confirmed in reliable sources.") and have contacted the user twice on the user's talk page. Again, please do not add any new episodes to this article without citing reliable sources like press releases or interviews. An edit war is not constructive, and adding unsourced information is against Wikipedia policy. Thanks. -- Wikipedical (talk) 05:01, 10 December 2012 (UTC)
Stop noting when Lorne Michaels has appeared on the show
[edit]As discussed in previous articles, Lorne has made very sporadic appearances on the show. Why should one more of his appearances be of significance? - Jasonbres (talk) 15:54, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
Because, it doesn't happen every episode and it's still a cameo. The same could be said of Steve Martin. He's appeared countless times on the show, why should one more be noted? With all due respect, BrianGriffin-FG (talk) 22:28, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
Don Pardo
[edit]Shouldn't it be noted that Don Pardo wasn't the opening announcer for the Kevin Heart episode? With all due respect, BrianGriffin-FG (talk) 22:30, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
