Clarification of "Panchayat", "town panchayat" and "village"

This article has the phrasing "Panchayat, town panchayat village". For those not familiar with this type of classification it can be confusing. What is what? How can a town be a village?Srednuas Lenoroc (talk) 08:17, 25 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I agree; "village" and "town" in the same sentence are confusing. I've removed the word "town" from that sentence. If a reliable source is added showing that it is indeed classified as a town, the word can be put back. Thanks, /wia🎄/tlk 11:40, 25 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
