Piped link as disambiguation link

I'm not sure if a piped link is a proper use of the link on an entry on a disambiguation page. Namely:

Satanic ritual abuse (as a moral panic)

what appears to be parenthetical disambiguation here, is actually a piped section link, which seems a bit misleading.
