Ward 5: Randy Donauer
[edit]I've already twice reverted edits from Allaboutthat that removed the mention of a Facebook group that questioned his religious beliefs during the election campaign. The statement conforms to the WP:BLP policies of being neutral, verifiable and not original research. It offers no commentary on him as a person, it merely mentions the existence of the group - so I believe it's valid information.
I've left a censorship warning on his talk page. I don't want this to devolve into an edit war... we're already on the brink of the three revert rule. --Drm310 (talk) 18:39, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
- Another user has reverted the same lines as before. I am beginning to suspect sock puppetry and may request investigation by an administratior. --Drm310 (talk) 20:10, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
- I requested an investigation and it was deemed to be inconclusive. It may not be sock puppetry but rather meat puppetry (one editor solicits other people to edit an article in support of their position). The archived investigation can be found here. --Drm310 (talk) 03:51, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
- User Haveuheard has removed the same lines yet again, with no edit summary. If this persists I will request that an administrator block these two users as vandalism-only accounts. --Drm310 (talk) 16:08, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
- Happened again, same user. Increasing the warning level on their talk page before requesting administrator intervention. --Drm310 (talk) 17:18, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
2020 update
[edit]I've updated the article to reflect results of the 2020 election, including references and updating the external links. I also took the opportunity to re-format, converting the mayor and councillor sections to tables for better organization. I also added an infobox and a section on historical background.Other justin (talk) 17:46, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
