[edit]Saskatchewan Penententiary is one of many jails in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Other jail facilities in the city include but are not limited to: the Provinical Correctional Center Youth Correctional Services Federal women's Correctional Center Prince Albert also used to house the Prince Albert Sanitarium until it was closed down, and eventually torn down a few years ago. The Prince Albert Sanitarim was closed donw many years ago, it is hard to find actual facts on the history of the building. I do know that it was at one point used as a TB clinic during the TB outbreak.
