D F Sarmiento

[edit]

I added Domingo Faustino Sarmiento to this page, but it was removed. It looks like there are two other Sarmientos for whom most of the other things listed here were named after (Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, Pedro Sarmiento de Gamboa, and Carlos Sarmiento). I think the purpose of the disambiguation page is to help people who are looking for information about a topic but can't remember all the exact details (like the full name). Sending them to a page with a very long list of athletes mixed in with one or two highly influential individuals does not seem correct to me. Dardanelle (talk) 00:39, 23 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That is the correct way of doing it. I agree the surnames disambiguation page could do wth tidying up so that eg, the politicians were in one group and sportsmen in another, and so on. Murgatroyd49 (talk) 07:47, 23 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I have gone through the surnames page and grouped them as I suggested above. Murgatroyd49 (talk) 08:17, 23 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
