[edit]The Woman's Exchange??? This article fails to even basically define the subject. It states that the Sarasota Woman's Exchange is "an organization", which tells the reader nothing. I don't even have a clue what it might be. Did people exchange one woman for another, maybe when hiring a maid, housekeeper, or governess? Was this one of those quaint marital or divorce customs one hears about in history, where a man could exchange his wife for another? Is it a historical brothel? - Boneyard90 (talk) 11:44, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
- News articles suggest it is a charitable clothing store, like Woman's Industrial Exchange and possibly related.--Auric talk 09:40, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
