This should be an interesting review. I plan on having my review up within a week. Snuggums (talk / edits) 22:19, 17 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm very sorry, but there are too many dead links for this to be a GA. Failing as a result. There's other issues as well. Sources like "Daily Beast" and "newsminer.com" seem questionable while sources like "fromforum", "Zap2It", "Radar Online", and "Huffington Post" aren't reliable. I see "citation needed" and "not in citation given" tags, which are not good. Be sure there are no unsourced statements when preparing an article for a GA nomination in the future. Other issues include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • In the infobox, remove "notably" before Bristol if naming children at all per WP:EDITORIALIZING and WP:NPOV.
  • In the lead, "Her book Going Rogue has sold more than two million copies" seems to just come in out of nowhere and doesn't really connect to the previous sentences very well.
  • In "Early career and marriage", I'd move the mention of Palin's other children with Todd; it feels disconnected to mention birth of first child here and the rest in a different section.
  • Something doesn't feel right about having "Political positions" in list form or having really short subsections per WP:LAYOUT.
  • In "Public image", only Time (magazine) should be italicized, and don't fully capitalize the word.
  • There is no need to mention how many grandchildren she and Todd have, even if Bristol made headlines for her pregnancy. If anywhere, this count belongs in articles on their children.
  • "Her husband Todd worked for the British oil company BP as an oil-field production operator, retiring in 2009, and owns a commercial fishing business" belongs in his article, not here
  • Her religious beliefs are probably better off mentioned in "Early life and family"
  • "Bibliography" is problematic as a section title as it can be confused with a list of works written about Palin; I'd use something like "Published works" instead.

DO NOT renominate without thoroughly checking the referencing and layout. Best of luck getting this to GA in the future. Snuggums (talk / edits) 04:02, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
