Notability
[edit]Removed Notability tag based on the following:
- The person has received a notable award or honor, or has been often nominated for them.
The following may apply as well:
- The person has made a widely recognized contribution that is part of the enduring historical record in his or her specific field.
The field of glass art being what it is, that's a hard one to call.
Additionally, the integration of solar cells into conventional glass art (usually a very traditional field) is of interest, and this artist is exploring that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.248.174.193 (talk) 19:42, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

I have made significant contributions to the page in the past and see it needs editing. I have made 20 windows at St. Monica Church in Richmond, BC. and am knowledgeable about stained glass. In these edits I am working on behalf of Sarah Hall Studio.

- Hello Akocad! First things first, seeing as you've declared a connection to Sarah Hall, I've gone ahead and added a notice at the top of the page. Conflict-of-interest editing is allowed on Wikipedia, but should be generally done through uninvolved editors by requesting edits on the article's talk page (that we're on right now) to maintain a neutral point-of-view.
- What in particular needs editing? Right now I can see four "issues" posted at the top of the article. Is there anything in particular that you would like to have changed? TGHL ↗ 🍁 03:37, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
Request Edit
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
This article was substantially edited and shortened on November 8, 2022 to address the issues raised in five tags that were placed on the page in August and October. The changes made in November include: removal of extraneous lists and examples, revisions to inline citations, removal of most of the publication references, and additional edits for clarity and concision. Some updates were also made (e.g. appointment to the Order of Canada in 2019). A request is made for an impartial editor to review the current page, and to remove the template tags if the identified issues have been adequately addressed. Akocad (talk) 19:39, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
- I will remove the resume tag. However, the article still only has 4 references, 2 of which appear to be the subject's website, and I think there are too many images in the article given (32 in the article at present). Additionally, what is your relationship to the subject of the article? Please see the following link (which was referenced in the reply above) about regarding conflict of interest editing: WP:COIE.
