In an interview on Triple J they revealed that the 'Emergency' part of the song is a tribute to The Neverending Story theme.

Who are "Kav" and "Temperley"?

This article refers to a person called "Kav" and another called "Temperley" without giving any indication of who these people are. No persons named "Kav" or "Temperley" have articles in Wikipedia, so there needs to be some context for their identities within this article.
