not an orthodox rabbi

According to the jpost article, the Rabbinical Council of America, the largest rabbinical association of modern Orthodox rabbis in the US, bans RCA members with positions in Orthodox institutions from ordaining women into the Orthodox rabbinate and hiring a woman into a rabbinic position at an Orthodox institution. Therefore Hurwitz cannot be considered an orthodox rabbi by the standards of those orthodox institutions themselves. It is inappropriate to list her as an orthodox rabbi. Doing so constitutes original research and WP:POV. Council2 (talk) 15:47, 9 November 2015 (UTC)

relation to hebrew institute of riverdale

I was unable to confirm that she is holding such a position in the synagogue. The synagogue website mentions one Rav Steven Exler instead. Council2 (talk) 17:51, 9 November 2015 (UTC)

According to their website, she holds the position of Rabba. 63.116.31.198 (talk) 22:52, 9 November 2015 (UTC)

Title

User:Shmuel - You are correct. The source you cite gives her the title Rabbah. The phrasing you used of "spiritual leader" is exactly right and while it may seem hair-splitting it is a good NPOV solution. Joe407 (talk) 14:22, 13 December 2010 (UTC)

I hear that "raba" in Russian means "a female slave." It may be inappropriate to use the term here, out of respect for the subject of the page. Council2 (talk) 16:48, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
