Find correct name
The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere.
The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.
Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

The article states that Santos is the plural of Santo in Italian, however, that is not true, since the plural of Santo in Italian is Santi. Besides that, the form Santos is not used in Italian surnames unless we count De Santo, Del Santo, Santi, De Santis and similar variations. However there are other articles about that surnames for example https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santi and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DeSantis
And last but not least "santos" is not the plural of "saint" in French either. I think that this article gives the wrong impression that Santos is a native Italian surname which is not. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.54.239.126 (talk) 09:28, 8 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
