Article improvement
[edit]What is needed:
- More references, showing why Jagnade is notable;
- clarification of the first sentence: was he employed by Tukaram, as the article now says, or was the relationship somehow different? Again, why is Jagnade made to stand out, why is he somehow more prominent than the other 13 cymbal players?
- Is there anything more known about his life?
Given that a stamp commemorating him was released, it seems obvious to me that Jagnade is notable, but the article doesn't show that right now. --Crusio (talk) 09:38, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
18th century recording equipment?
[edit]Not sure what he ‘recorded several of Tukaram's Abhangs’ means. Does it mean he wrote them down in musical notation? This reads like he had access to a sound studio. Clarification would be helpful. Thanks Mccapra (talk) 18:56, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
