Contentious material. Ought to be deleted
[edit]This section "jumped into active politics to earn money" is potentially libelous and doesn't have any references supporting it either. It ought to be removed. What is the process for removal? Aman Zaidi (talk) 08:28, 14 August 2017 (UTC)

Disambiguation
[edit]@LaundryPizza03 The Delhi politician disambiguation you have added is not correct. He was born in UP state and is active in UP politics. Yes he is MP RS from Delhi but that is due to his party membership. RS members are not elected by voters but by parties. He is from AAP party, I suggest it is changed to "AAP Politician" similar to what is used in his twitter profile. Do you have any objection? https://twitter.com/SanjayAzadSln . Sanjaya Sinh BJP Politician from UP already exists. So using UP Politician is not enough. --Venkat TL (talk) 10:35, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
- Nope! Fixed. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 11:41, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
- @LaundryPizza03 This guy Sanjaya Sinh is also using the same spelling and is a UP politician. Due to him being active in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, and to avoid confuision with the other guy, I repeat my suggestion to change this above article to Sanjay_Singh_(AAP_politician) Venkat TL (talk) 11:48, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
- Or maybe Sanjay Singh (Uttar Pradesh politician, born 1972) with the redirect Sanjay Singh (Uttar Pradesh politician, born 1951) to the differently-spelled politician. Either way, I will open an RM for this issue. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 16:36, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
- @LaundryPizza03, no I do not support either of those 2 suggestion. Why are you making this complicated. Why not put the party name disambiguation. there is no other Politician with this name in AAP. Venkat TL (talk) 16:40, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
- Because this person used to serve in a different party. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 16:41, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
- @LaundryPizza03 while you are technically right, he was a nobody in his previous party. he was not notable back then. He became famous only after leaving his previous party. Venkat TL (talk) 16:46, 9 October 2022 (UTC)

Requested move 9 October 2022
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: moved. to Sanjay Singh (AAP politician) per discussion consensus. This discussion has been without new input for 4 days, and has elapsed the 7 day move discussion period. All respondents have supported the indicated name with party affiliation to provide disambiguation. Until such time there is another politician in that party with the same name, this serves as an ideal disambiguation. Thanks, and ping me with any questions on my talk page. Sanjay Singh (Uttar Pradesh politician) → ? – There is disagreement on the proper disambiguation to distinguish this person from Sanjaya Sinh and Sanjay Singh (Haryana politician), who are all Indian politicians.
- This person has represented both Uttar Pradesh and the National Capital Territory of Delhi in state and federal offices. He is currently a member of the Aam Aadmi Party, but previously served in Samajwadi Party. He was born in 1972.
- Sanjaya Sinh has represented Uttar Pradesh in state and federal offices, and is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was born in 1951.
- Sanjay Singh (Haryana politician) serves in a Haryana state-level office, and is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. We do not have a precise birth year for this person. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 16:43, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
- Support : Sanjay Singh (AAP politician) should be used for the AAP MP (i.e. Sanjay Singh (Uttar Pradesh politician)). As he is a senior leader of AAP and is holding senior AAP offices, Using his date of birth is not useful because no one knows his date of birth. This person also uses AAP in his twitter profile and https://facebook.com/SanjaySinghAAP which supports this proposal (source: election affidavit). He was a nobody in his previous party. he was not notable back then. He became famous only after leaving his previous party in 2007. - Sanjaya Sinh can be left at its current location and difference in official spelling can be used for disambiguation.
- Sanjay Singh (Haryana politician) can be moved to Sanjay Singh (BJP politician) for his current party or can be left at its current location. I am ok for both.
- Venkat TL (talk) 16:50, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
- Support Sanjay Singh (AAP politician). Sanjaya Sinh, also known as Sanjay Singh, is also a BJP politician, so party wouldn't work for the Haryana politician. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:55, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
