We Need to Expand this Page
[edit]As of late, SC Senator Sandy Senn has risen to the national level after helping filibuster a total abortion ban by the majority Republican chamber
It would be ludicrous to not expand this page after this, and I call on Wikipedia to do just that. Western Progressivist (talk) 20:26, 30 April 2023 (UTC)
Page protection requested
[edit]I have submitted a request for page protection. Other Editors have noted changes to the page that may be from a political opponent. Right now the page has been edited to focus mostly on political positions rather than on the person's biography. Protection should be installed immediately to prevent any further vandalism. Perhaps there needs to be a blanket increase in page protection for all political candidate pages at this point, since primaries are coming up in many states in the next few months. ProfessorKaiFlai (talk) 05:21, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
- Page is much improved - thanks editors! Disappointing to see what can happen to these pages during election season - all editors should remain vigilant and keep POV changes off these pages. ProfessorKaiFlai (talk) 03:38, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
Campaign contributions
[edit]MrSCPOL's edit summary here constitutes their opinion but we need to have reliable sources suggesting the contributions are inherently notable. I reverted, so feel free to discuss here. --ZimZalaBim talk 17:28, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
- I've again felt it necessary to revert insertion of this content from MrSCPOL (talk · contribs), as it was based on a questionable source and appears to be POV-pushing by a WP:SPA. They then added them back. Anyone else want to provide an opinion? --ZimZalaBim talk 02:15, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
- I believe this page has had numerous attempts at vandalism due to a hotly contested primary campaign. I agree with reverting the content, as clearly POV-pushing. I also have requested page protection during the time leading up to the June 11 Primary. ProfessorKaiFlai (talk) 04:31, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
- I've again removed this mention. If there is a reputable source noting this is a controversy, then we could probably include it. --ZimZalaBim talk 22:06, 23 June 2024 (UTC)
