Type of player and role throughout 12 year career

The biography seems to be lacking personal information such as family life and the childhood or growing up leading to his career. Also the type of player Sandy was on the ice and into depth of his contributions not necessarily points but to the team as a person on the ice. Whether it be offensive, defensive or how he even gelled with teammates.
