Odd...

[edit]

Does anyone else find it odd that the media doesn't in any way question why federal Liberal are dead-set for censoring Kanck's comments, but why state Liberal are dead-set for the non censorship of the comments, with all 8 MLC members voting against it? http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,20867,20321880-2702,00.html is the only news article out of 39 news.google articles that actually informs readers that the Liberal MLCs voted against it... Memory Hole

[edit]

So who is going to get hold of a paper copy of Hansard, digitise the speech and email it (encrypted) to an US based Wikipedian for inclusion in Wikipedia (don't forget to cc The Memory Hole).Blaggette99 23:16, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Done (not by me). Timeshift 13:31, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

3 free images to choose from - which one?

[edit]

Not as great as it sounds, they're all pretty dodgy, please help me make my mind up as to which to add - Choice 1 - Choice 2 - Choice 3. Timeshift (talk) 05:41, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'd go with three, I think. Rebecca (talk) 05:43, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not going to disagree as they're all pretty average. What do you think of the edit? Timeshift (talk) 05:51, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think it does the job as well as any of those were going to. Nice work, anyway. Rebecca (talk) 11:21, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I can't say i'm impressed with the revert and no talk page contribution from another user. Timeshift (talk) 11:14, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I looked back and was singularly unimpressed by that triplication of boring pic(s). I'm quite surprised by Rebecca's view. The top one is no oil painting, either. Why not get on to to her hubby Aussie for a more decent one, such as is displayed on the SA Dems' website? (But one is surely enough.) She will, after all, be Australia's sole A.D. sitting parliamentarian after 30 June. Cheers, Bjenks (talk) 13:35, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Funny how uploading an awful image inspires people to gain a better image... people on Quentin Bryce could learn a thing or two, but that's another story. This image is the best, but alas has no copyright tag. This image looks, I dunno, like she's depressed, not a good look. I'd like to use the former image, but I have suspicions over both image. Who is Arch File and how can we really know who to trust and who not to trust in terms of uploading images? Timeshift (talk) 02:27, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
