Real Name?
[edit]A printer's error on the labeling listed her name as Sandi Patti, and used this moniker as her stage name for the next fifteen years. So... what was her name before that? What were her parents names? --Eddylyons 19:39, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
- I've added the info regarding her name. Found it at the FAQ section of her website. Ajcfreak 17:23, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- It should be evident from the artist's name listed in the Wikipedia entry as "Sandi Patty," that the spelling ending in "-y" is her given surname. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cornellcrawford (talk • contribs) 23:30, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
Singing Career
[edit]"She headlined her first national tour in 1984, and reached national acclaim after her rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" was included during the ABC Statue of Liberty re-dedication broadcast on July 4, 1986. This exposure led to multiple mainstream television appearances including The Tonight Show, Christmas in Washington, Walt Disney's Fourth of July Extravaganza, and the 1998 Pepsi 400." How is it that a performance in 1986 resulted in an invite to the 1998 Pepsi 400?Chryslerfan (talk) 06:39, 14 December 2013 (UTC)

Article Rip-off???
[edit]Found the EXACT text of this article at [1]. Could someone verify as to which came earlier? The Wiki article or the Bio page at Activemusician.com ? If the text of this Wiki article was indeed copied from ActiveMusician.com , then the entire article needs to be re-written. Ajcfreak 17:39, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
Wiki article preceeded the bio from ActiveMusician.com. It appears the text was lifted from Wikipedia and pasted to ActiveMusician.com.
Infidelity Regrets
[edit]I added a sentence re. Patty's interviews in which she accepted responsibility and regret for having committed infidelity. This seemed relevant to why Patty has been slowly re-accepted to her old fan base. I will work on finding a citation. Jack Brooks (talk) 21:31, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
Voice
[edit]If she is known as "The Voice" in the Christian music industry, why is there not a section on her voice in this article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.26.188.254 (talk) 02:35, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
