Unnecessary reversion
Greetings, SFO contributors. While I trust that most of you are wiki-abiding editors, I am compelled to point out that there is unfortunately an editor who yesterday, reverted my edit for SWA's suspended route with Austin (AUS). Since the edit had not been done back or before June 7th when the suspension began, I gave it over a month, and finally took the initiative on my own. I feel that such information to passengers should not be "swept under the rug" for any airport/airline, and I provided a valid link as well, tabling all SWA suspended routes as a result of the Boeing 737 MAX grounding. The suspension could last for months, and we would not want this page to act as a disservice to readers who may be looking for a fast source on nonstop routes; such can be faster than searching on an airline's website by date, for if all editors are wisely posting sources in a timely manner. In any case, I am not a troll; I felt for the sake of Bay Area nonstop air travel, that the edit was appropriate. The editor who reverted it has done so on this page before--according to his talk page--in less-than-respectful mannerism. If you agree with him, so be it, and I will respectfully no longer contribute to your page. Contrarily, if you are serious about keeping the passenger/destinations page up to date according to the SWA/other airlines' website(s), please reconsider my edit, and kindly let it stand, for if permitted to be redone. Furthermore, if you would prefer I address such types of service edits beforehand on this [talk] page, I agree to cooperate in that regard. Thank you for reading, and your consideration. Peace.PhoebeMin1 (talk) 07:21, 24 July 2019 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is not a directory. Andrewgprout (talk) 11:24, 24 July 2019 (UTC)
- Andrewgprout, read this carefully: Wikipedia is a source of _information_, including the status of an airline route--particularly future changes (ie beginning/ending + date). Editors do so on this page every year, and on any other airport page that makes it more helpful. If you are ashamed of a route being currently suspended affecting your beloved airport, that is not my business, but stop it with this "not a directory" nonsense.PhoebeMin1 (talk) 10:39, 31 July 2019 (UTC)
- I tend to agree with Andrewgprout on this one, Wikipedia is not a directory. Nor is it a website for listing suspended routes for airlines, unless the suspension is particularly notable and has received wide coverage by reliable third party sources. Greyjoy talk 10:44, 31 July 2019 (UTC)
Edits?
Hello everyone!
I will edit to the original page as Isacra121416 remove some of the headings (===) in some sections. Thank you! Apple 3002 (talk) 17:36, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
- These edits do not make sense. It looks like test edits to me. I've re-demoted the subsections under the main History section. -Fnlayson (talk) 17:04, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

Map of international destinations outdated
Hi all, I noticed that the map of international destinations served from SFO is outdated. I don't know how to correct it, but I figured someone would. If one of you could update it, it should include Vietnam, Qatar and Costa Rica. Many thanks! -MB — Preceding unsigned comment added by Maxbillick (talk • contribs) 02:45, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
