Date of death
[edit]DEVONS. Professor Samuel FRS. Passed away at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York on December 6, 2006, aged 92, after a brief recovery from a cardiac arrest. Survived by his wife of 68 years, Ruth, and by daughters Sue, Judith, Amanda and Cathy, twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren and sister Nina.
