Shotgun used

Does anyone have any information on the type of shotgun round that was used? The article states that one 'bullet' struck him in the heart and another tore his arm off at the elbow. I changed bullet to round as unless a deer slug is being used, there's no such thing as a shotgun "bullet" (whereas even a deer slug is not referred to as a bullet). Interesting factoids

Apparently "Mad Sam", during a trial late in his career, plead the fifth a total of 337 times. From a really interesting column that relates a neat little story of a DeStefano trial. The trial is supposed to be one where he was accused of threatening a government witness, and he represented himself. I've included the source information in case someone comes back to this. There's a book that has at least a section on DeStefano, telling a story of him beating on a debtor and ordering the debtor's wife and children to urinate on him. (Lindberg, Richard (May 1999). Why have the facts surrounding Arthur Adler's murder been deleted across the internet? De Stefano took Adler, a nightclub owner who owed on a loan, to his basement and began his ice pick treatment on him, causing Adler to die of a heart attack. It was winter in Chicago, and Adler's body was shoved into a frozen sewer where it stayed until thaw. At that time, the sewer backed up and the sanitation workers were called. Adler's body was discovered. An AP photo of the crowd's reaction as it watched the body being removed became the AP photo of the year.70.112.7.24 (talk)

Contradiction

The following is a contradiction: "Brother Mario was then convicted of complicity in Foreman's murder and received 20-to-40 years in prison; Spilotro was acquitted. Although Mario and Spilotro were suspects in Sam's murder, no one was ever charged." My father, Mario De Stefano's conviction, in the murder of Leo Foreman, was reversed and he was granted a new trial. Sadly, he died in hospital before he had the opportunity to vindicate himself in a new trial.
