Alabama game

[edit]

This statement is untrue, and it is even debunked within this same article. "His performance in the game was reportedly a factor in convincing the University of Alabama and its fans to let Coach Bear Bryant integrate Southern football." Southern football was already integrated several years before that game. Just because a USC fan site (the USCLegends.org page referenced to that line) reported something doesn't mean it should be here. If the intention is to discuss the myth that has developed around the game, then it should be worded a little more clearly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.249.47.179 (talk) 18:39, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
